In the first phase of the competitive part, the especially formed three-member judging committee evaluated and preselected the best 240 photographs. These were then brought to the judgment of the public, who voted online for the best three photographic “inspirations”. At the same time, the judging committee decided on the best atomic and the best group participation, which will be awarded with two special prizes.
The committee members are:
- Yannis Behrakis (Chief Photographer of Reuters)
- Takis Tzimas (“Fotografos” magazine Publisher)
- Periclis Hoursoglou (Film Director)
Audience prizes
More than 10000 visitors of www.athensphotoinspiration.gr participated in the online voting that took place from Monday, June 14th to Wednesday, June 23rd, and decided on the best three photographic inspirations.
The audience prizes go to:
1st Prize: Εmmanouela Georgitsi with 509 votes
2nd Prize: Labros Tyrlis with 478 votes
3rd Prize: Anastasia Bougiaka with 382 votes
Judges’ prizes
The three-member judging committee evaluated and decided on the best atomic and the best group participation, based on criteria that concern: a) how well the image falls within its theme group, b) its artistic style, and c) the technical dexterity it displays.
The Best Atomic Participation prize goes to:
