Athens Photo Inspiration 09 was organized for the second consecutive year on Sunday, June 14th, within the framework of Athens Photo Festival 09, with the support of Nestea.

About 500 friends of photography from all over Greece, had the opportunity to participate in the most enjoyable photography «marathon» in the centre of Athens, to communicate and to express themselves, by recording through their own lens and within six hours, three topics inspired by the city’s yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The event peaked with the Athens Photo Inspiration 09 Exhibition, presenting the participations that distinguished, and which was hosted in the Esplanade Building of the Faliron Olympic Pole, within the framework of Athens Photo Festival 09.

It concerned presentation of the 18 photographic inspirations awarded by the audience and the judges’ committee, along with the projection of the 192 photos which were short listed during the competition’s first phase.
