In the first phase of the competitive part, the three-member judging committee evaluated and preselected the best 210 photographs. These were then brought to the judgment of the public, who voted on-line for the best three photographic inspirations. At the same time, the judging committee decided on the best individual and the best group participation. Two special prizes will be awarded to these two participations.

Audience prizes
More than 6000 visitors of www.athensphotoinspiration.gr participated in the on-line voting that took place from Monday 22 June to Friday 3 July, and decided on the best three photographic inspirations.

The audience prizes go to:   
1st Prize: Penelope Kalatha with 461 votes.
2nd Prize: Yiota Siapera with 443 votes.  
3rd Prize: Stefanos Brilakis with 428 votes.                   

Judges’ prizes
The three-member judging committee evaluated and decided on the best individual and the best group participation, based on criteria that concern: a) how well the image falls within its theme group, b) its artistic style, and c) the technical dexterity it displays.

The special prizes by the panel were awarded to:
Individual participation: Aris Kamarotos
Group participation: Yorgos Angelopoulos, Lefteris Papageorgiou, Alexandra Ziazopoulou

Distinctions
In addition, the judges' committee attributed distinctions to nine participants, three for each shooting theme.
